I'm New

"It's the people who make this church a wonderful place.  No one pretends to be perfect, everyone is open about their struggles, and all are accepted with open arms."

What to expect on your first visit?

While the vision of LGCC for worship is to be a church in which every generation encounters God in spirit-led worship, our ministry is first to the Lord, then to the people. Our goal is to turn “song time” into “worship time” blessing and ministering to God. We want people so excited about the Lord and the church that they are eager to join us on Sunday morning, get involved in serving, and bring their friends to church.

Come as you are! From suit jackets to flip-flops and in some cases maybe a few people can pull off both at the same time, truly we have a pretty relaxed environment. We meet every Sunday in our Community House at 10am and we offer an online experience with an opportunity to interact with other members of the congregation through public chat or to pray with a staff member privately.  To join us online, click here

Our Children's Ministry is offered on Sunday mornings for children from birth through fifth grade every week.

The first Sunday of every month we practice what we call open communion. People are not required to be members of our fellowship to participate. We ask only that they have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior.

After service please feel free to introduce yourself to any member of our ministry staff -- we would love to meet you!

Join us for coffee and community after the service!

PRAYER

Prayer is an important part of our ministry at Long Grove Community Church.  If you are in need of prayer, please visit our prayer wall to submit a prayer request.  We have a prayer team that regularly prays for the prayer requests that come in.
